Fast Racing Neo Will Run At 60fps On Wii U Gamer

a minute read

One down, one more spec hurdle to go. Shin’en Multimedia has officially announced via Twitter that the sequel to , will officially run at the smooth-as-a-baby’s-bottom 60 frames per second, exclusively on the Wii U.

The news comes courtesy of the good folks over on My Nintendo News, where they caught wind of the tweet from a reader’s tip. You can check out the tweet below.

We’ve known for quite some time that Shin’en was aiming for some pretty high specs for on the Wii U, but it’s good to have some form of confirmation that the upcoming eShop racer will run, fully buffed at 60fps.

Now as much as I would love to show you some footage of the game running at those aforementioned 60 frames per second, unfortunately there’s no gameplay clips available at the moment.

The only thing we can do now is hold on to our butts and hope that the game turns out clean and pristine, as far as gameplay and controls go. Because as much as it is an amazing achievement that they managed to hit 60fps with , if the controls aren’t as tight as Schwarzenegger’s muscles during his Mr. Olympia run during the 1970s, then it’s all for naught.

Anyway, can unclench your cheeks and take a sigh of relief now that has been confirmed 60fps. All we need now is a confirmation on the resolution and we’ll be all set. Hopefully the Wii U’s “Secret Sauce” won’t fail us now. Keep your fingers crossed for 1080p.

You can stay tuned for more info on by paying a visit to the game’s official website.
